Group Instruction Beginner group classes are designed for up to 10 people, lasting 5-6 hours. The course teaches you about fly fishing equipment, how the equipment is put together, accessories, flies, the naturals, fly selection and casting. Telliquah Outfitters provides all necessary tackle and lunch.

Learn & Catch Beginner Program This full day program includes morning in a classroom setting, covering equipment, how the equipment is put together, accessories, flies, the naturals, and fly selection. Instruction continues outdoors, with casting practice. After a break for picnic lunch, your new knowledge and skills are put into action on a guided fishing trip. Telliquah Outfitters provides all necessary tackle and lunch. Attendees need to provide a TN Fishing license with trout stamp. We recommend you also bring sunscreen, a hat and polarized sunglasses.

Private Instruction Our knowledgeable and experienced fly fishing guides will custom design private individual instruction, catering to fly fishing abilities from beginner to advanced, and based on the student’s preferred areas of concentration.
